Softies – Lloyd Rabbit (large)

Our Softies – Lloyd Rabbit (large) is made with the softest wool blend fabric. Lloyd looks especially dapper in his blue tweed shirt and hand-knitted scarf. Each Softie comes with an attached card outlining his/her favourite things (and others, not so much).

He loves collecting leaves in Autumn
and bringing them home to Mum
making mud pies with his friends
and getting as dirty as he can
he doesn’t like making his bed

and the little dog laughed was launched in 2008 by Australian designer, Kylie Platt. Kylie has a passion for fabrics and design, and particularly loves to combine textures and mediums; knits and fabrics, and stretch and floral cotton, adding different layers to a piece that would otherwise be one-dimensional. Kylie draws a lot of inspiration from her childhood and particularly likes to create timeless pieces that evoke a sense of nostalgia. The inspiration for the labels’ name comes from one of her favourite nursery rhymes, Hey Diddle Diddle. Each piece is designed to not only evoke a sense of nostalgia but is designed to be loved and cherished through to the next generation.
